For Tagaung Taung Nickel Project in Myanmar, rotary kiln - electric furnace process (RKEF) is adopted with treating capacity of laterite 1.2264 million t/a, ferronickel output of 85,000 t/a with metal nickel content of about 25,000 t. It was put into production in 2012.

For Fu'an Ferronickel Test Base Project under Obi Island Project, rotary kiln - electric furnace process (RKEF) is adopted with laterite treating capacity is 670,000 t/a, ferronickel output of 100,000 t/a with metal nickel content of about 10,000 t. It was put into production in May 2010.

For Fangchenggang Nickel Alloy Project of Guangxi Jinyuan Nickel Co., Ltd., rotary kiln - electric furnace process (RKEF) is adopted with laterite treating capacity of 720,000 t/a and ferronickel output of about 77,000 t/a with metal nickel content of about 12,000 t. It was put into production in December 2013.

For No. 3-6 Electric Furnace Production Line Project under Inner Mongolia Heyi Nickel-Chromium Composite Project, the rotary kiln - electric furnace process (RKEF) is adopted with laterite treating capacity of 710,000 t/a, ferronickel output of about 100,000 t/a, with metal nickel content of about 12000 t. It is predicted to be put into production in April 2015.
