An enterprise research institute was set up in 2013 with the purpose of reforming the China ENFI technological innovation management mode. ENFI Technology Research Institute, as the leading organization of technology R&D, integrates the internal and external R&D resources, organizes the development and implement the R&D innovation projects. It is mainly responsible for setting up a R&D innovation platform for companies, integrating R&D innovation resources, establishing and improving R&D innovation project management system, taking charge of specific activities for approving, initiating and declaring a national- and provincial-level science and technology project (subject) and company R&D innovation project, organizing foreign cooperation R&D, technology transfer, etc., and taking responsibility for process management of R&D innovation projects and foreign R&D projects.
